Act 1, Scene 5

CHARACTERS:
Macbeth
Lady Macbeth
Duncan

SUMMARY:
Macbeth is unsettled by Malcolm becoming king. Lady Macbeth reads a letter from her husband which tells her about the witches promises. Lady Macbeth realizes that Macbeth is to good to kill Duncan and is happy when she hears the king will be staying in the castle that night.  Lady Macbeth calls upon evil spirits to help her kill the king, when her husband arrives she tells him to look innocent and leave everything to her.
